    TITLE: BRAND & MARKETING DIRECTOR

    CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME

    REPORTS TO: HEAD OF SCHOOL

    Overview of Position:

    This position is responsible for designing and implementing a marketing and communications plan that aligns with the school's mission to achieve enrollment and visibility goals. This role is intended to have a direct impact on admissions, development, communications and overall brand awareness in the marketplace. Critical to the success of this position is executing a strong vision for marketing Calvin Christian School.

    Essential Responsibilities

    1. Develop and implement a comprehensive, annual marketing and communication plan that includes all stakeholders.
    2. Work with CCS staff to generate content for general use (i.e. form for teachers to highlight something in their classes).
    3. Manage the CCS website, including conducting quarterly aesthetic and functionality audits.
    4. Create content for and manage CCS's social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
    5. Create and distribute periodic print communications for all stakeholders.
    6. Take regular photos of CCS students, faculty, and staff during the school day and at special events.
    7. Oversee the production of video content that tells the story of CCS.
    8. Plan several key events: fall auction and spring donor reception and participate on other signature event planning committees.
    9. Other duties as assigned, appropriate, and within the scope of the agreed upon employment.

    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to tell stories using a variety of media.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in various media tools that include but are not limited to the Adobe Creative suite, Canva, Mail Chimp, and video editing software.
    • Experience using Word, Excel, and Google Suite preferred.
    Other Duties
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Education
    • Three years of prior professional experience in leading enrollment, communication and/or marketing efforts.
    • Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
    Required Skills

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

    • Keep abreast of current best practices in the field.
    Physical Requirements
    • Speak clearly so listeners can understand.
    • Understand the speech of another person.
    • The employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk, read, see and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to type, handle, or feel and reach. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
    Travel Requirements

    Travel to businesses, churches and organizations etc. will be required to perform marketing and networking duties.

    Working Conditions

    Work is performed in a typical office environment. Must be able to work in an open office setting with moderate noise levels.
