Job Summary:


The
Paid Search Specialist contract position will be responsible for leading, managing and optimizing paid search campaigns, primarily for one large client but potentially also across other client accounts.

This work will include both the Google and Bing platforms and will require a working knowledge of and experience with Google Analytics 4.

This role requires a deep understanding of PPC strategies, keyword research and performance analysis.

Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, website design, or related field preferred.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience in managing paid search campaigns.
  • Experience specifically in the role of a dedicated campaign manager making daily / weekly optimizations etc.
  • Knowledgeable on basic organic search principles
  • Must have ecommerce SEM experience
  • More specifically, must have experience managing Google shopping / paid PLA advertising
  • And must have experience running such campaigns specifically through the Performance Max campaign type, and NOT merely standard shopping campaigns
  • Must be able to clearly communicate strategy, options, and recommendations with client for a team approach to decision making and spend
  • Must be willing to meet inperson with the client from time to time: 24 times per year.
  • Proven experience with Google Ads and Bing Ads (Certification as a nicetohave)
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools and must have experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Fluency in PPC metrics and KPI terminology and a baseline understanding of display advertising.
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and manage paid search campaigns (including Shopping / Performance Max) on platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads.
  • Conduct keyword research on an ongoing basis to inform campaign builds / expansions etc.
  • Create negative keywords and analyzing search query reports on an ongoing basis. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making datadriven decisions to improve ROI.
  • A/B test ad creatives, landing pages, and bidding strategies to enhance campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with the client marketing team to align paid search strategies with overall marketing goals.
  • Generate regular reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in paid search and PPC advertising.
  • Manage the allocated budget effectively to ensure cost efficiency and maximum impact.
