    Description
    Our client is a $200M healthcare services provider


    • Oversees the continuous improvement of financial planning and analysis processes and the development of the staff to provide exceptional financial insight and support to the organization.
    • Partners with leaders of the organization to identify and understand business opportunities and challenges, proposes innovative solutions.
    • Supports the month-end close process. Analyzes departmental operating results and variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior year. Prepares and reviews journal entries based on analysis performed. Creates insightful materials for business reviews.
    • Performs business decision analysis of potential acquisitions, business opportunities, and new investments.
    • Develops and enhances financial reporting tools and financial models.
    • Responsible for departmental cost accounting for the entire organization.
    • Leads and participates in cross functional teams and special projects that support strategic initiatives as assigned.
    • Implements, monitors, and evaluates financial planning and analysis policies and procedures, and makes recommendations as necessary.
    • Is responsible for the compilation, review, and of the development of all aspects of the annual budget and long-term strategic plans, including operational and capital planning, financial reporting, and development of presentation materials.
    • Directly supervises the staff of the financial planning and analysis team. Develops staff; hires, trains, and appraises as required.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or Master's degree preferred.
    5+ years related experience, including 2+ years in a leadership position.
    Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    Advanced Excel skills
    Highly developed analytical skills
    Progressive knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
    Strategic thinker
