- Lead the completion of monthly accounting tasks in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct annual review and enhancement of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements), optimizing internal control effectiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with relevant business partners to provide strategic financial analysis and insights, contributing to informed decision-making processes.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and supporting schedules, presenting findings to management as needed.
- Proactively engage in process improvement initiatives, driving positive change and efficiency gains.
- Perform assigned duties, which may include overseeing plant accounting activities, reporting profit and loss statements, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, and managing accruals/deferrals/amortizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- CPA or similar professional certification preferred, but not required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in generating and managing financial reports.
- Strong knowledge of Internal Controls, Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and operations, with a track record of delivering valuable insights and recommendations.
- Experience in designing queries and reports using financial systems, enhancing data analysis capabilities.
