    Job Opportunity: Special Education Teacher

    Description:Our schools in Philadelphia are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to join our team. We need someone with a solid special education background, a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment, and the ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
    • Adapt instruction to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
    • Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure each student's success.
    • Utilize various teaching strategies and materials to meet the unique requirements of students with disabilities.
    • Track and evaluate student progress, making changes to teaching approaches when necessary.
    • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior and social-emotional growth.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other relevant gatherings.

    Qualifications:

    • Hold a valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
    • Complete Background Checks, current FBI and state clearances. (or be willing to obtain them)
    • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
    • Experience in supporting students with diverse needs and abilities.

    These positions are available as full-time, part-time, or per-diem. The hours, locations, and student groups can be adjusted to match the teacher's preferences.
