    We are actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time positions within school districts in the Camden, SC area. We are looking for passionate and dedicated professionals committed to making a positive impact on students with special needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
    • Adapt lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
    • Provide direct instruction and support in academic, social, and life skills development.
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress.
    • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and progress.
    • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.

    Requirements: To apply for this position, candidates must meet all local and state requirements for Special Education Teachers in South Carolina. These typically include:

    • Education: A bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
    • Licensure: A valid South Carolina teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education.
    • Certification: Completion of state-approved Special Education certification programs.
    • Experience: Previous experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
    • Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check.
