    Achieve Pediatric Therapy has been serving children and families in central Florida since 2007. Our mission is to empower children, serve families, and enhance lives through compassionate and individualized care. We offer a collaborative approach to therapy, providing a variety of resources to children of all ages and their families. Our focus is on family-centered services and interventions that enhance motor skills, behavior, and development.

    Role Description

    This is a part-time on-site role for a Music Therapist. The Music Therapist will be responsible for providing individualized therapy services to children, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions. The therapist will collaborate with other professionals on the team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans and provide support to families. The therapist will also maintain documentation and communicate progress to the interdisciplinary team.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Music Therapy
    • MT-BC (Music Therapist – Board Certified) by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)
    • CPR/BLS certification
    • Experience working with children & adolescents ages birth-21
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Creative and energetic
    • Strong professional ethics and self-discipline
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Experience working with children and families
