How will you make a difference?This is a high visibility role supporting Mining Leadership with adept analytics to drive business strategy, sustained growth, and operational execution.
The FP&A leader will partner with the Mining CFO in anticipating and serving the evolving needs of the business to maximize profitability and cash.
Being highly cross functional, the role provides an excellent opportunity to build strong business acumen, critical thinking, networking, and communication skills.
What do we want to know about you?Bachelor's Degree (preferably in in Accounting or Finance) from an accredited university or collegeMinimum of years of experience in FinanceMinimum 5 years experience in FP&A or operations finance working with key stakeholdersExperience working in a cross functional or matrix environmentEstablished analytical and project management ability with a simplification / automation / digitization mindsetStrong communication, analytical skills and critical thinkingKnowledge of Oracle, HFM, OneStream or Power BI is a positiveWhat will your typical day look like?Gatekeeper of Mining finance.
Work closely with the Mining commercial and operational finance leaders to support monthly reporting, forecasting and annual budgeting/STRAP processes.Monitor and effectively communicate financial results, KPIs and performance analysis with cross functional partners and executive leadership.
Prepare analysis, providing insight on budget vs actuals, performance trend, leading indicators and benchmarks to achieve business optimization.
Continuously improve reporting frameworks, tools and processes to improve efficiency.
Drive automation and standardization of processes to improve organizational effectiveness.
