    Job DescriptionSiena Catholic Schools of Racine is seeking a
    (5K) Kindergarten Teacher for the 24/25 school year at John Paul II Academy. John Paul II Academy is one of the seven schools within Siena Catholic Schools of Racine. John Paul II Academy is an Exemplary School. The Exemplary Recognition Program, based on the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools, honors schools that have demonstrated innovation and outstanding results. Through a rigorous process with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, John Paul II Academy is proud to have earned Exemplary Recognition for Educating the Whole Student in 2023.
    Siena Catholic Schools of Racine comprises six elementary/middle schools and one high school that serve more than 1,600 students.

    Job Summary:

    • Inspiring students and promoting mastery in subject areas.
    • Helping to develop and implement curriculum that is aligned with Wisconsin State Standards, Common Core Standards and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards as they evolve.
    • Providing continual assessment of student progress and maintaining records.
    • Continually evaluating instructional performance to meet the needs of the students.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in the appropriate subject area.
    • Knowledge of application of best teaching practices
    • Ability to work in a high achieving school in a diverse environment.

    Preferred:

    • Demonstrate commitment to the principles of Catholic Faith
    Appropriate State of Wisconsin licensing and certification is preferred


    • Elementary teaching experience
    • Have general knowledge of transformative technology instruction.
