    Summary

    Are you someone who is passionate about creating a better future for children, families, and communities and is dedicated to social consciousness? If yes, we invite you to join us in supporting early childhood education programs across Racine County by creating positive outcomes for the children and families we serve.

    As an infant/toddler teacher at Little Roots Early School, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and professional growth as an early childhood educator. This position serves as a teacher in a classroom with a direct focus on children between the ages of 0-3 years. The teacher will work collaboratively with other teachers, family members, and staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.

    Little Roots Early School is a full-day preschool childcare for infants through kindergarten age.

    Duties

    - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
    - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
    - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
    - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience
    - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
    - Follow all licensing regulations and guidelines for childcare centers
    - Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children

    Requirements
    • Set up classroom materials or equipment.
    • Plan educational activities.
    • Monitor student behavior, social development, or health.
    • Discuss student progress with parents or guardians.
    • Provide for the basic needs of children.
