    Our mission is - to help the world transition to a more fair and transparent business model in the form of usage-based pricing, and in the process help our customers achieve higher rate of growth and customer traction.

    We are looking for an experienced Lead Backend engineer who is excited about leading the next-generation meter file storage system, and improving the system performance while reducing the costs.

    This to make our infrastructure more scalable, cost-effective, and performant, as well as developing new platform features and capabilities.
    Work as a player-coach within the Backend team
    Design and create new data pipelines on AWS using S3, AWS Lambda, Athena, and EMR
    Handle large data sets processing
    7+ years of production level experience in either Java, or Scala.
    Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures and their real-world use cases.
    Experience with distributed systems, databases, and big data systems (Spark, Hadoop).
    Maximum likelihood estimation, Monte Carlo Methods, Markov Chains, Regression, Inferential Testing, etc.
    Knowledge and experience with time series forecasting models (ARIMA, Exponential Smoothing, Prophet, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), etc).
    You are looking to take ownership and make an immediate impact.

    You have an understanding of the concept of a metering service as it relates to underpinning usage-based pricing and billing infrastructure.

    You have experience mentoring junior team members, you collaborate well, share and receive constructive feedback, and are not afraid to stand up for what you believe in.
