    Description

    About the Role

    The Project Manager will lead and coordinate all aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Build effective project teams to deliver quality results within scope, on time, and within budget, ensuring client satisfaction and divisional profitability.
    • Lead project management objectives, including technical goals, staffing, and process improvements.
    • Supervise and mentor a team of approximately 3 direct reports and 10 total members.
    • Review contracts, adjust priorities, and engage with clients to meet expectations.
    • Oversee third-party contractors, manage project finances, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
    • Communicate challenges and achievements proactively, while managing project invoices and change orders effectively.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial/mixed-use electrical construction
    • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
    • Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is a plus
    • Proficiency in electric power engineering.
    • Hands-on experience coordinating with construction management in the field.
    • Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.
    • Proven track record in cultivating relationships and contributing to project acquisition.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a profitable project portfolio.
    • Strong initiative, execution, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Outstanding analytical, motivational, and leadership abilities.
