The clients we work with are going through an extremely emotional process and we want to help them navigate their unchartered territory and come out feeling as though they are a better person, in a better position, and that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them. We are growing fast, and we need an Associate Attorney who can hit the ground running.
Are you passionate about helping people? Can you enthusiastically connect with people? Do you have a desire to counsel your clients? Can you imagine going to work every day knowing that you're making a positive difference? Are you just done working in a job that offers poor pay, no future growth, unreasonable duties, and poor managers? Do you like the flexibility to work from home when you aren't in court or with clients? If so, then we are looking for YOU Have the satisfaction of working for one of the most respected law firms in Connecticut.
We are looking for a result driven, rising superstar to join our fast moving team. The ideal candidate thrives on people, relationships, and helping others in need of legal services. We are a small business with a huge impact in our community and helping our neighbors with their family law and juvenile issues.
We love our team at Wolf & Shore Law Group, and we love the work that we do, but we also recognize life is not all about work. We strive to have a balanced work/life culture to allow ourselves, and our staff, the flexibility we all need in today's world. We created our firm's core values to reflect this and have included them here so that you can see if you would be a good fit with our team.
Core Values
Play nice in the sandbox. Respect everyone and treat others how you want to be treated. This may be the Golden Rule that you learned in kindergarten, but it serves us well in both our professional and personal lives still today.
Do your job. Everyone on our team does her part to keep the well-oiled machine moving. We are a group of professionals that realize there is no "I" in team, and we each value the importance of our individual roles and how those roles contribute to the overall success of the firm.
Put the cap back on the toothpaste. This may sound silly, but it illustrates an important point. Everyone on our teams knows to complete her job fully. We also refer to this as the "one touch rule" because it ensures that once something is started, it is carried out through completion. This allows us to remain efficient and organized.
Make Momma proud. Do the right things right. Even when no one else is looking. If you are doing something that does not feel right, or would be ashamed for someone you respect to know about, then you probably should not be doing it. We know that our reputation is everything in the legal community, and that includes how clients see us. We strive to be ethical and forthcoming in everything we do.
Be Critically Correct. Think critically but don't BE a critic. Have an open mind. It is our job to analyze our clients' matters and concerns. However, we also listen with an open and empathetic mind so that we can zealously advocate for our clients while also counseling them through this difficult time in their lives.
Good Vibes Only. Be positive even when things seem negative. This one speaks for itself. Our job is hard. Our clients are going through a hard time. We need to shed some light on an often otherwise "dark" situation.
