About the role

Responsible for assisting the Global Advisory Finance team with supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month end/quarter end processes for the Advisory Corporate Functions business group (Digital & Technology, Marketing, Research, People, Legal, and Communications).

Seeking a high-quality analyst who can work independently and contribute by offering their ideas to the team.

What you'll do

Support bottom-up and top-down operating budget and forecast development for Advisory Corporate Functions.

Be a business partner to the functional leaders and provide vital financial analysis for the Americas.

Help consolidate corporate functions globally and bring clarity into cost structure.

Analyze trends/variances and identify business drivers behind the numbers for executive summaries and analytics.

Facilitate various automation projects to help drive efficiency in financial reporting.

Help reduce redundancy by working with Advisory finance globally and Automation and Reporting Center of Excellence to minimize manual work.

Coordinate and create dashboards to standardize reporting including industry-specific data to drive additional insight and transparency into business trends.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university and 1-2 years related experience, or combination of equivalent education and experience in accounting and finance.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, respond to inquiries or complaints from internal customers or management.

Effectively write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to optimally present information and respond to questions from groups of managers or other internal customers.

Requires solid understanding of financial terms, concepts, and accounting principles, and the ability to comprehend and interpret complex financial transactions.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts.

Very strong or advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software, preferably Excel and PowerPoint.

Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired such as HFM Consolidation, PeopleSoft Financials, and Cognos Planning.

Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is helpful, as is a strong work ethic, ownership, and accountability.

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.

Responsible for setting own project deadlines.

Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
