    CHE is a premier provider of behavioral health services in 14 states and continues to grow into new markets.

    CHE has been operating since 1995 and employs over 800 psychology and psychiatry providers to deliver care virtually and in person at various care settings.

    We deliver a unique programmatic approach to behavioral health services and are focused on quality and compliance for facilities and in our outpatient settings.

    We are looking for aggressive, talented, ambitious, engaging, innovative, and all-around balanced individuals to join our team.

    General Summary


    As a Financial Analyst at CHE Behavioral, you will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making through data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights and recommendations that contribute to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the company.


    Responsibilities:
    Essential Job Responsibilities


    Financial Planning and Analysis:
    Develop and maintain financial models to analyze and forecast company performance.
    Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
    Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

    Budget Management:
    Work closely with department heads to create, monitor, and manage departmental budgets.
    Provide variance analysis and insights to identify areas of concern or improvement.

    Data Analysis:
    Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
    Interpret and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

    Reporting:
    Generate and distribute accurate and timely financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
    Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial data.

    Financial Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
    Assist in the preparation for audits and regulatory inspections.

    Financial Forecasting:
    Work on long-term financial planning and forecasting to support strategic initiatives.
    Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks to guide financial decisions.


    Outside the organization:

    • Presents financial information or other analyses to leadership.
    • Oversees cash management processes and reporting.
    • Produces annual budgets, report budget vs.
    actual monthly and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.

    • Provides financial analysis and supports expense management initiatives, as required.
    • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
    • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

    Qualifications:
    Education


    Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting (or related field), or five years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

    Knowledge & Skills

    Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    Mastery of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    Excellent organizational and time management skills
    Highly motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to function independently
    Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
    Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
    Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
    Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and experience with Sage Intacct ERP systems is preferred.
    Demonstrated ability in critical thinking and analytical problem-solving
    Proven proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
    rack record of successful process resolution and optimization
    Ability to analyze and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency
    Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
