- Assure that special custom application orders, engineering changes, and special projects are processed and completed in a timely and accurate manner. Work with production to resolve any problems that may be related to product design or functionality. Provide engineering support in the maintenance and manufacture of existing products
- Participate in cost reduction goals associated with company products utilizing the tools of value analysis and the elimination of non-value added components.
- Participate in the development of new products to assure UAS products are competitive. Coordinate relevant documentation to ensure consistency and reduce non-conformance.
- Provide application support to the Marketing/Sales department, representatives, and customers. Assist application engineering with design specifications, product constraints, job costing and warranty issues.
- Effectively communicate through active listening; acting on input; sharing information in an open, timely manner and encouraging others to do the same. Maintain appropriate confidentiality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems. Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced mathematics and related engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge and application experience with NEC and NFPA.
- Design, part selection, and layout of control panels for V.
- Beneficial to have experience with UL, ETL, and CE requirements.
- Effective time management and project management skills.
- Hands on ability to test, check, and debug control panels.
- Comprehend key indicators for area of responsibility.
