**Operations Support Specialist**

**Job Description**

Dalkia Aegis, formerly Aegis Energy Services, is looking for a strong, talented individual to work out of our facility in Holyoke, MA. The Operation Support position will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of cogeneration units and systems . By utilizing the existing service systems to monitor and troubleshoot assets remotely, the Operation Support Staff will create detailed work orders to allow technicians to execute repair tasks accurately at customer locations. This position will work closely with the Operational Analyst to ensure assets are operating as efficiently as possible. The Operational Support Specialist will also need to work closely with the service dispatcher to ensure that technicians are assigned to work on the assets in a timely fashion. Travel into the field as necessary to assist technicians with repair or troubleshooting of assets is required.

**Role & Responsibility**

Identify issues related to lowered performance

Create accurate jobs to allow for appropriate field resources to be dispatched to solve issues in a timely manner

Review onsite jobs to ensure outstanding work is rescheduled as required

Maintain PM work scheduled within 5 days of due date

Review all open work orders prior to scheduling and assign to limit travel time.

In field work as required to assist teammates with jobs, train new procedures.

Provide phone support to both field technicians and customers

Skills & Abilities

Possess mechanical experience in automotive engines, small gas engines, generators etc.

Specific training on CHP components will be provided

Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing engines, hvac equipment or similar pieces of equipment,

Capable of working in a team or independently.

Good reading comprehension and communication skills.

Basic math, reading and writing skills.

Basic computer skills required.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and move 75 lbs

Education & Experience

High school diploma

Trade School and further education is a plus

2-4 years of experience in remote troubleshooting
