Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Direct Care - Residential Worker in the Residential program at Behavioral Health Network
We have an opening for full-time, overnight,
as well as
multiple locations around the Pioneer Valley-Western Mass
- Direct Care Workers provide direct services to individuals in group homes that support the growth, independence, and safety of individuals in all settings.
- They monitor their overall health and wellbeing by assisting and monitoring daily living and encouraging independence, competency and decisionmaking.
- Direct Care Workers initiate, support and ensure quality of life through empowerment, safety awareness, respect and dignity.
- Assist with all aspects of medication treatment and provide related activities to document and support the services provided to individuals.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergencies.
- Plan and provide opportunities for community activities and maintain, enhance and foster social support networks and relationships.
In the
Residential Support Services program at BHN, we provide 24-hour staffed residential services, community day support, individual and family support services, a social club, and an advocacy program.
Each person we serve is part of a team that includes family, BHN staff, and other providers who work together to assess the individual's needs and goals and then create and maintain a plan reflecting strengths, capabilities and desires.

Direct Care - Residential Workers at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:
- Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration of individuals/persons served
(required). - High school diploma or G.E.D.
(required). - Valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours
(required). - Minimum of six months experience in human services
(preferred). - Training is provided by BHN.
