Description
BISON Transport USA is currently looking to add an experienced
IT Support Specialist to its team in Amherst, WI.
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all client computing systems are operating smoothly and properly. This will include installing and configuring new workstations, network hardware and software.
Other responsibilities, such as ordering and receiving of new equipment and assisting other systems staff in the implementation and maintenance of special projects, will be added over time.
Hardware Support
- Desktop and Laptop deployment and troubleshooting
- Mobile Device support
- Printers, Scanners, Copiers
- Video Conferencing and Boardroom support
Software Support
- Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Sharing and Collaboration support for Teams, SharePoint & OneDrive
- Chrome & Edge Browsers
- Tier 1 support for Transportation Applications and Great Plains Dynamics
Networking Support
- Troubleshoot core connectivity, Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
- Network drop tracing and cable management
- Diagnose Internet and Wi-Fi access issues
Voice Services
- Teams Voice Support
- CXone Contact Center Support
- Mobile support
Endpoint Management
- Imaging of desktops and laptops
- Enrolling of devices with M36
- Patching and Windows Updates
- Recall and tracking of equipment transfers, terminations, and repairs.
Remote Desktop Support
- RDS & Citrix core connectivity and connection health
- Navigate unique challenges based on Remote Terminal, Work from Home, and Mobile Workers
- Two Factor Authentication, Data Loss Prevention, and BYOD security measures.
User Account Management
- New Hires, Transfers, LOA, and Terminations
- Active Directory and Microsoft 365 access
What Will You Need to Succeed?
- High School Diploma or its equivalent or equivalent plus 2 years of demonstrated experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills verbal, written, & interpersonal
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail & effective data gathering skills
- Efficient organizational skills,
- General knowledge of PC's and network hardware
