Responsibilities:
* Receiving, reviewing, and processing invoices from vendors and suppliers
* Verifying the accuracy of invoices, including matching them with purchase orders and delivery receipts
* Ensuring invoices are coded correctly and entering them into the accounting system
* Reviewing and processing employee expense reports
* Validating receipts and expense details for accuracy and completeness
* Preparing reimbursement payments to employees in a timely manner
* Communicating with vendors and suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies and other AP matters
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with key vendors
* Preparing and scheduling payments
* Ensuring payments are made on time
* Maintaining accurate and organized payment records
* Reconciling AP transactions to ensure accuracy
* Generating AP reports and providing financial data as needed
* Assisting in month-end and year-end closing procedures
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
* Maintaining proper documentation of all AP transactions
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of professional work experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in the music industry.
* Bachelors degree in finance, accounting and/or related field preferred.
* Accounts payable work experience is required.
* Knowledgeable of accounting principles and regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* SAP and NetSuite experience a HUGE plus
* Ability to maintain high confidentiality
