Description
Description:
-Establishes, orders, evaluates and maintains appropriate supply levels in the Mainstream warehouse, Processing, and CSS areas.
-Receives deliveries during established business hours and distributes to recipients as identified.
-Maintains record of received supplies and obtains proper certifications for critical supplies for reference when needed.
-Researches new supplies, systems and/or vendors for better pricing, convenience and quality.
-When requested, researches supplies for Tissue Bank personnel to meet specified technical standards.
-Coordinates implementation of new supplies through regular communication with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs personnel.
-Helps maintain approved supply list in BTM for Tissue Bank Staff through regular communication with departmental managers regarding the relevance of supplies to represent Standard Operating Procedures
-Reviews and attaches packing slips to original purchase orders (PO) of all ordered supplies and sends them to appropriate DCIDS accounting personnel. Works with appropriate DCIDS accounting personnel to set up new vendor accounts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-One year of experience in a laboratory, tissue baking or related field, preferred.
-Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
