    BMW and MINI of the Main Line, Philadelphia's BMW and MINI dealer, is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to join our team. Primarily customer facing, the successful candidate must be an energetic people-person who is driven to provide the highest level of service possible. This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced automotive retail service professional ready to hone his or her management skills.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage the service drive in an organized effective manner
    • Train and coach service personnel in basic customer handling skill daily
    • Ensure every customer receives a top-level experience from our staff through proven techniques such as a proactive and friendly greeting, positive body language, active listening, etc.
    • Actively lead departmental operations by example
    • Follow up with customers after service to ensure repeat business
    • Promptly address customer issues and offer solutions early in the visit
    • Assist Service Advisors with customer and vendor issues
    • Coordinate customer facing staff schedules
    • Drive sales goals through personal customer engagement and by ensuring Service Advisors consistently present available information to customers, such as technician videos, tire scans, etc.
    • Collaborate with sales and service management team to develop, implement and continually improve service processes
    • Assist Service Manager with overall supervisory, administrative, marketing and merchandizing activities
    • Assist in organizing alternative mobility program including maintaining and monitoring loaner fleet, facilitating pick-up and delivery program
    • Assist with the development of marketing strategy
    • Other duties as required

    Qualifications

    • Experience in an auto repair facility such as tire store, independent or aftermarket or dealer
    • Supervisory experience preferred
    • Excellent, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of dealership computer systems helpful - CDK experience preferred
    • Must have a valid driver's license
    • Excellent customer service skills
