Your Role:
Oversee and prepare various tax returns (income, sales, excise) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Conduct in-depth federal and state tax research to identify areas for mitigating tax risks.
Review and manage nexus standards for all state taxes, and lead in federal and state tax audits and special tax projects.
Collaborate with our internal accounting team and external auditors/consultants.
Respond effectively to tax authority communications.
Who We're Looking For:
Someone experienced in state and local taxes, holding a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting. CPA preferred.
A professional with relevant corporate tax experience in a corporation or public accounting firm.
Familiarity with CCH Axcess, AnswerConnect, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
