    What's the role?Tax Specialists are a key part of the tax team responsible for managing client relationships while ensuring final annual tax products for individuals are produced and delivered to clients within expected timelines.


    This includes:
    Preparing tax records and reports for individual tax clients and/or business clients.
    Assisting clients with IRS correspondence when appropriate.
    Preparing 1099's and other year-end work.
    Assisting with client bookkeeping including bank reconciliations, deposits, ledger entries, office filing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
    Communicating and meeting with clients as requested; providing recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
    What experience and skills do I need to be successful?Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
    EA or CPA certification is highly desired or an ability to attain.
    Bookkeeping, accounting, and/or tax experience within a public accounting firm is highly desired.

    Generally, you can flex the typical Monday-Friday 8a-5p schedule around any personal passions or family time as long as business needs are being met.
