    Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics & Data Science

    Location:
    Houston, TX
    Direct Hire/Perm

    Experience:
    Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in advanced analytics, data science, or related roles.
    At least 4 years of managerial experience, preferably in retail or B2C sectors with an emphasis on Omnichannel.

    Skills:
    Strong communicator and attention to detail, capable of engaging with stakeholders across all levels.
    Proficiency in developing dashboards, automating data processes, and ensuring data integrity, especially within ecommerce or retail contexts.
    Ability to innovate and remain up-to-date with emerging technologies in advanced analytics.

    Technical expertise in programming languages such as Python and SQL, as well as BI tools like Tableau/Power BI and cloud technologies like GCP, AWS, or Azure.

    Experience with machine learning frameworks and familiarity with LLMs.
    Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling and advanced analytics techniques, particularly in retail or ecommerce.
    Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver actionable insights from complex analytical projects.
    Agile mindset with the capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines in dynamic environments.
    Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to team development and mentorship.

    Day to Day Responsibilities:


    Mentor and lead a team of analysts, data scientists, product managers, and engineers to derive actionable insights from data and foster a culture of accountability.

    Develop strategic and tactical plans for omnichannel analytics initiatives.
    Analyze data trends and provide recommendations for cross-channel marketing strategies.
    Own the data product roadmap and prioritize AI/ML feature engineering efforts.
    Translate data science findings into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
    Oversee the development and integration of machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive solutions.
    Collaborate on experimental designs for marketing tactics to accurately measure ROI.
    Partner with engineering and BI teams to integrate new data sources and scalable platforms.
    Define and document metrics to support a data-driven culture and ensure compliance with company standards.
    Drive the development of advanced analytics talent across the organization.
