Job Description Summary:

The USCAN Service Business Intelligence Manager leads the Business Intelligence team that provides reporting and business intelligence support for the U.S.

& Canada Service business.

This Manager assesses and prioritizes analytics needs of the business, and partners with USCAN and Global Data & Analytics teams to provide solutions.

Pulling together disparate data sources, this team combines and engineers the various inputs into data-driven visual aids and meaningful insights regarding GEHC SLA performance and adherence, at various organizational levels.

This Manager has great horizontal awareness of GEHC's Service business, existing KPIs and metrics, and the ability to stratify data and analyze it to create meaningful performance indicators.

This Manager will be responsible for leading, executing and operationalization of world class data driven methods, advanced algorithms and capabilities to support needs of the businesses.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assessing and prioritizing analytics needs for the U.S. & Canada Service business. Activities include interfacing with various stakeholders, such as Commercial Growth, Service Sales, Service Delivery, Operations, etc.; defining the scope of programs and timelines of deliverables; managing cost, quality, and contracts with vendors (if not covered by a contract manager); and ensuring projects are executed to ensure customer satisfaction, all with a high level of autonomy.
  • Lead a team of that may consist of Business Intelligence leader(s), Data Analyst(s), Business Analyst(s), etc. to prototype and design dashboards and reports. Act as thought leader for the use of data and analytics to drive critical business decisions, business strategy and able to serve as coach / mentor for data analysts on the team.
  • Lead program management, including operationalization of analytic methods and products in functional settings, and drive development of new methods and capabilities.
  • Ensure customer adoption & drive consumption of analytics, and maximize usage and use of analytics with customers.
  • Maintain effective working relationship with business leaders, stakeholders, users and partners to integrate programs into overall strategic objectives.
  • Effectively communicate (i.e. status, issues, and escalations) to leadership and other various levels of the organization.
  • Provide visibility to Data Quality issues and work with the business owners to fix the issues.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with significant experience (minimum 6 years or equivalent).

  • Strong ability to communicate deep analytical results in forms that resonate with the business collaborators, highlighting actionable insights.
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with writing SQL queries and working with databases.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to acquire and develop any critical or specialized domain knowledge or data science skills (e.g. statistical analyses, advanced data visualization, data mining, and data cleansing / transformation) required to be more effective in all required activities. Experience working effectively on multiple outcomefocused commercial solutions simultaneously.
  • Quickly learn and adapt the capabilities of new technologies and share with the team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Communicates complex solution concepts in simple terms.
