    JOB SUMMARY
    Develop new business for the Credit Union. Cultivate new, and maintain existing, relationships for all facets of corporate partners (SEGs).

    Duties include coordinating with company executives, sales and marketing professionals, frontline managers and employees, reviewing current market trends and proposing new business ideas/leads to improve revenue to grow Credit Union business.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Develop contact lists of potential new SEG's, members, partners in the Credit Union's field of membership.
    • Contact and visit prospective members, partners, or SEGs to present information on available services, such as deposit accounts, lending products, digital banking, or investment services as appropriate.
    • Attends various meetings in the community and/or at trade associations to develop new business prospects and promote the Credit Union.
    • Make presentations on financial services to groups to promote credit union products and financial literacy.
    • Identify and research potential clients/partners, make first contact to acquiring new business.
    • Contact current member base in a variety of methods and follow-up methods: via telephone, site visits, letters, emails, and direct mail campaigns.
    • Maintain an up-to-date contact tracking tool.
    • Examine the methods that are successful in developing business. Assess the products that best meet member needs.
    • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
    • Promote all products and services with cross-selling to meet members' or SEGs needs.
    • Train, coach or mentor company employees.
    • Organize community outreach initiatives, such as company open houses and speaking events.
    • Other duties as assigned by President/CEO, Executive Management, or Business Development Manager.
