As a SAP Security Specialist, you are a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of security protocols and technical proficiencies within security technologies who plays an integral role in maintaining a secure environment for Special Access Programs (SAPs). This role remains instrumental to protecting industrial and national security by ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SAPs to provide secure environments, manage risks, enforce policies, and ensure that only authorized individuals have access to classified information.

As the SAP Security Specialist, you will draft, coordinate, negotiate, implement, and oversee risk management strategies to mitigate or negate business, industry, and national security risks. You will analyze threats and vulnerabilities to develop effective risk management approaches and ensure compliance with policies and regulations from facilities and personnel. To optimize security capabilities, you will review and edit SOPs, properly classify markings on documents, oversee secure transportation and destruction of classified material, and conduct security briefings and debriefings for SAP personnel. You will oversee background investigations, clearance adjudications, and conduct continuous evaluations into personnel working within SAPs to enforce physical security measures within SAP facilities. The role is crucial for maintaining compliance with various legal and regulatory requirements, essential for ensuring that critical processes can continue without interruption due to security issues. Your contributions to a well-maintained SAP security environment ensures that the organization has transparent user authorizations and reduced SoD complications and assures that sensitive data within SAP systems is protected against unauthorized access and potential breaches.

Requirements:

Active TS/SCI Clearance
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
7-10 years of experience with >3 years within the DoD/IC and >2 years of SMS and CAC
Experience in distinct functional or cross-functional security areas
Familiarity with SAP processing procedures
Familiarity with IC policy and directives
Experience creating and utilizing SIC/JADE accounts
Experience with submitting SAP access/access management
Ability to maintain SAP training
Indoctrination experience
Leadership experience in managing security activities
