Duties:
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, programs, and standards for the Personnel Security Program, Insider Threat Program, and Continuous Evaluation Program.
- Interpret security directives and resolve complex or unique security issues.
- Review investigative records to determine if employees or persons to be employed meet security standards and requirements for employment.
- Recommend whether to grant, deny, reciprocate, revoke, suspend, or restrict security eligibility.
- Manages and maintains all Personnel Security systems.
- Develop and disseminate Personnel Security and Insider Threat education and training materials.
Requirements:
Conditions of Employment:
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- One year trial or probationary period may be required.
- This position requires a Tier 5 (T5) investigation.
- Employment is contingent on the incumbent obtaining the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification within 2 years of accepting this position.
