    Clyde & Co is a global law firm providing a complete service to clients in its core sectors of insurance, transport, energy, infrastructure and trade & commodities. We are seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team.

    The position involves representation of international and domestic insurers with regards to all manner of liability policies, including fidelity, directors and officers, employment, professional, property, excess and commercial general liability policies.

    What you'll do:
  • Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients.
  • Conduct rigorous legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
  • Prepare and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with supporting briefs, and other legal correspondence.
  • Engage in formal correspondence with opposing counsel and other parties.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
    • We're looking for someone who:
  • Possesses e xcellent academic credentials
  • Is admitted to practice in California or Washington state
  • Has 4+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation matters; OR
  • Complex commercial litigation experience
  • Federal court experience
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters simultaneously
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects

  • The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $220,000
    • Benefits offered include student loan reimbursement; flexible time off; medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401K Safe Harbor contribution; Life/AD&D Disability; Flexible Spending Account; Supplemental Medical Accident Insurance; Supplemental Critical Illness Insurance; Employee Assistance Program; Pet Insurance; Commuter Benefits.

    The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $220,000. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
