    Description

    Donahue Fitzgerald, LLP is currently looking for a Mid-Level Attorney focusing on litigation with the aim to strengthen our Litigation Practice Group. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on intellectual challenges, enjoy collaborating with a talented team of legal professionals, and aspire to be part of a firm that offers a clear path to partnership.

    The successful candidate may follow a hybrid work schedule and will be based at our Oakland office.

    Qualifications

    • Exceptional research and analytical skills
    • Self-motivated with outstanding organizational skills, capable of managing multiple cases independently
    • Proficiency in developing and implementing case strategies and plans
    • Skilled in drafting pleadings and briefs
    • Previous experience in document preparation and review
    • Previous experience in conducting and defending depositions
    • Previous experience in preparing and responding to written discovery requests
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
    • Capable of maintaining regular client interactions and offering sound legal advice with practical business perspectives
    • Negotiation skills, including meetings and discussions with opposing counsel
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Strong analytical and problems-solving capabilities
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Document Management System preferred
    • Proficient in e-discovery processes, including the use of relevant software, preferred

    Minimum Requirements for the Role

    • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
    • Active California Bar license
    • At least 5 years of litigation experience
