- Drives an Omni-channel mindset that will help grow business at brick and mortar and also online.
- Develops, implements, and executes sales and distribution plans at our customer level.
- Works with the customer and the customer business manager, to establish quarterly, six month, and annual objectives that meet/exceed corporate category volume, brand volume, market share, promotion spending, logistical efficiencies, and profit objectives.
- Executes distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing (DSMP) objectives.
- Effectively negotiate customer programs and new item launches to determine appropriate investment levels, retail price points, and promotional plans to deliver topline volume.
- Collaboratively works with Senior Sales Analyst, NCSMs, and RGM team to develop and deliver insights and business plans and presentations to drive profitable growth for the company and for Walmart and Sam's Club.
- Provides management with pertinent feedback regarding customer and competitive activity.
- Works with the customer to ensure that our trade investment policies and procedures are followed.
- Continue customer relationships to position Hormel as an indispensable strategic partner.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years sales / marketing / sales strategy experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply business analytics
- Pattern of initiative
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects
- Well-developed interpersonal, organizational skills and analytical skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take opportunities from conception to execution
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident or have the authorization to work in the United States

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this position are for the Walmart Behind the Glass and Fresh Sliced Deli Business, as well as the Sam's Club Party Tray/Entertaining businesses and products sold through the Sam's Club Café.
In this position, you will also need to work closely with the Customer Business Manager responsible for our Jennie-O turkey business at Walmart to ensure strategic alignment between all merchandising initiatives.

Bentonville Sales Office (Bentonville, AR)
A comprehensive relocation package to the Bentonville, AR area will be offered, if required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel may be necessary 10% of the time.
