    GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm.

    Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries.

    GHJ's relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client's needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.


    We have partnered with a well-known nonprofit organization in Greater Los Angeles to identify the newest member of their Accounting & Finance team.

    The Staff Accountant will be responsible for daily accounting duties and financial activities. If you are passionate about making a difference through philanthropy (or want to get your start) and possess strong accounting expertise, we invite you to apply


    What you would be doing:

    • Assist with month-end close
    • Balance sheet reconciliation
    • Accounts Receivables, billing, payment reconciliations and AR aging reconciliations
    • Assist with Accounts Payables as needed
    • Monthly bank reconciliations
    • Weekly cash flow analysis
    • Assists in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
    • Preparing and maintaining financial records, liabilities, P/L, tax liabilities, and other related activities.

    What you will bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with government contracts and grants preferred
    • Nonprofit and/or healthcare experience is a plus
    • Experience in MIP Abila Financial software or similar software preferred
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    $70,000 - $80,000 a year
