    FIJI Water is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to support domestic and international accounting operations. As a key member of the Accounting Department, the Staff Accountant is responsible for performing various accounting functions. This includes assisting in the preparation of month-end close, preparing journal entries, general ledger analysis, and other accounting-related processes.

    They will also provide support during the year-end audit as well as assist in the preparation of various audit PBCs.

    The right candidate for this role will be able to work within tight deadlines and drive continuous improvement to deliverables and processes.

    This is an opportunity for an ambitious and fast-learning accounting team member to join a company where the accounting team acts as a critical partner in support of a growing organization.


    We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

    Job Description


    • Preparation of various government filings and city compliance reports
    • Prepare annual property tax returns and government surveys
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly close, variance explanations; prepare Journal Entries, general ledger analysis, and other accounting related processes
    • Own the Fixed Asset subledger close process, including running depreciation and various reconciliations
    • Assist in the preparation of Account Reconciliations during monthly close
    • Work closely with business units to develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and controls. This includes preparing SOPs as well as providing general accounting support as needed
    • Support monthly financial reporting and prepare monthly A/R & A/P KPI's.
    • Assist in the preparation of year-end audit PBCs
    • Prepare and consolidate bi-weekly cash balance reporting for Treasury and Executive Management. Assist with compiling annual FBAR reporting
    • Assist Accounting & Finance group with ad-hoc projects
    Qualifications

    * - 3 years of Accounting experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
    • Knowledge of GAAP
    • Highly motivated individual with ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast paced environment
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel
    • Hands on experience with a major ERP system, Oracle preferred
    • Strong cross-functional skills given the combination of accounting and operations responsibilities in this role
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
    • Ability to proactively identify, resolve and communicate issues
    • Self-starter and ability to work independently

    Pay Rate:
    $32.50-$40.00 per hour and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
