    We are seeking an experienced thought leader, exceptional writer, skilled editor, and collaborative team member to develop and execute impactful internal and external communications. This is an opportunity to join a nimble agency and support a diverse client base, from large multinational corporations to cause-driven non-profit organizations. You will be energized by the variety of communications projects we support and the inclusive team environment we foster.

    This role is best suited for an individual with previous internal communications experience at an agency supporting corporate clients, who excels at creating high-quality written content for multiple channels and is able to flex their style to meet client objectives. The ideal candidate has their finger on the pulse of emerging communications trends and has the ability to leverage technology to create fresh and innovative content.

    Responsibilities

    · Thought leadership: Provide expert guidance to clients, manage communication audits, develop content strategy and cadence of integrated communications for internal audiences, and manage execution of communications plans.

    · Content creation: Develop fresh ideas and content for a variety of audiences and channels, including corporate email communications, blog posts, social media posts, video scripting, PowerPoint presentation copy, digital newsletters, campaign collateral, press releases, and quarterly/annual reports.

    · Social media strategy: Own the growth of our clients' social channels. Develop strategy, plan content, provide channel management, perform daily monitoring and moderation, facilitate ad buys, and conduct analyses; manage editorial calendar with a clear, consistent process for getting content created, scheduled, and published.

    • Events and awareness campaigns: Identify engagement opportunities and share ideas to build awareness for client initiatives with internal corporate and external audiences; create SurveyMonkey surveys, analyze results, and develop summary communications.
    • Quality Control: Meticulously review content developed by clients and our internal team, ensuring adherence to brand style guidelines and consistency in messaging.
    • Client communications: Serve as main point of contact for several engagements, responding to client requests in a timely manner, leading client meetings and preparing agendas and meeting minutes.
    • Project management: Lead multiple projects simultaneously, tracking and managing milestones to ensure deliverables are met.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related discipline.
    • 5+ years of internal communications experience at an agency supporting corporate clients.
    • Experience developing and managing corporate content strategy across social channels.
    • Strong creative, copywriting and editing skills required.
    • Strong project management skills and experience required.
    • Exceptional proofreading skills with detailed knowledge of AP style.
    • Ability to quickly grasp information on a variety of topics.
    • Team player with flexibility to changing deadlines and priorities.
    • Ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent projects.
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
    • Proficient in online newsletter production platforms (e.g., Campaign Monitor, Poppulo) and associated analytics.

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Ability to leverage evolving technology to create fresh and innovative content.

    · Ability to manage WordPress-based websites.

    · Understanding of video production processes.

    · Ability to work in various content management systems.

    · Experience with SEO.

    · Experience developing fundraising collateral.

    Note: Candidate must be able to show samples of their written work (corporate communications samples preferred).
