    The Manager, Community Investments will lead the Community Investments (Community Development Block Grants) section within the Community Services Division. It is responsible for assuring compliance with federal and state rules and regulations of programs receiving CDBG funding from Development. The position supervises and coordinates the workload for a staff of Community Development Analysts, directs and coordinates grant management of more than 100 grants each fiscal year, oversees regulatory and financial compliance and reporting, monitors changes in federal legislation and regulations, and develops new programs, program policies and procedures. The position also participates in the development of the State of Ohio Consolidated Plan and coordinates funding and communication with other Development programs.

  • Qualifications
  • Federal community development or similar program management experience required; experience with HUD programs preferred.
  • CDBG program knowledge required.
  • 2+ years previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; degree in Public Administration or City and Regional Planning preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
