Product Manager - Global InstrumentsAt Rainin, the product manager is the product champion.
The Global Product Manager for Instruments will be responsible for all aspects of Pipette products in the Rainin liquid handling product portfolio:
manual pipettes, electronic pipettes and high-through-put platforms.
The Product Manager will assess and prioritize customer and market requirements, working in collaboration with strategic collaborators – product development, production and commercial teams – to deliver the best quality products that meet the customer needs.
The goal for the Product Manager will be to support managing the Pipette portfolio to maximize market share, maximize profitability and set a strategic pathway forward for future growth in revenue and market share.
In collaboration with the commercial team, the product manager will own and be responsible for growing the Rainin product portfolio with a goal of increasing market share and increasing revenue.
This will include supporting the production of sales collateral that provides appealing value messaging as well as analyzing competitive products and providing sales channels with compelling arguments against competitive products.
Work closely with customers and strategic partners to gather input in order to develop innovative and disruptive new product ideas, write appropriate business and specification documents that drive the development of new products.
Be an integral part of the product development team to ensure successful implementation of product requirements and drive product development to commercial launch, acting as the voice of the customer.
Perform competitive and market analysis to understand our customer's full range of alternatives and Rainin's positioning with respect to those alternatives.
Support Tech support, sales teams and market organizations around the world. Manage product life cycle for pipettes. Ability to travel (domestic and international) up to 20%.
