- Process accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Review and audit invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices or payments
- Maintain vendor files and ensure all vendor information is up to date
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing processes as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level)
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus

Located in Escondido, CA, our client prides themselves on their commitment to excellence and their innovative approach to business. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team.
Position Overview: As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all accounts payable transactions. You will be responsible for auditing invoices, researching discrepancies, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
