    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and oversee the culinary vision and direction for the restaurant, ensuring alignment with the Maü brand and standards of excellence.
    • Design, create, and continually update innovative and exciting menus that showcase the finest ingredients and culinary techniques.
    • Lead and manage the kitchen team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
    • Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source the freshest and highest quality ingredients, ensuring menu offerings reflect seasonal availability and local sourcing whenever possible.
    • Monitor food costs and kitchen expenses, implementing cost-effective measures to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
    • Foster a culture of creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the kitchen team, encouraging input and feedback from all members.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, culinary developments, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the dining experience at Maü Miami.
    • Oversee kitchen operations during service, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of all menu items.
    • Act as a brand ambassador for Maü Miami, representing the restaurant at culinary events, media appearances, and industry functions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
    • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
    • Exceptional creativity and passion for culinary innovation, demonstrated through a track record of developing successful menus and dishes.
    • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food trends.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and external partners.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
    • Certification in food safety and sanitation.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a culinary leadership role.
