- Oversee the daily operations of the center, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and curriculum development.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as the center's policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
- Provide ongoing training and support to staff to ensure high-quality care and education for children.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and families, including regular communication and involvement in center activities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on enrollment, attendance, and other administrative tasks.
- Manage center resources, including supplies, equipment, and facilities, to ensure safety and quality.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and trends in early childhood education.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role in an early childhood center or preschool.
- Strong knowledge of child development, early childhood education, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate staff to provide high-quality care and education for children.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to early childhood education.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
