Our practice is seeking a Licensed Clinician for the position of Clinical Director for our therapy team.

This is a leadership role for our thriving organization and offers the opportunity to be part of the administrative team as well as running the clinical program for multiple sites.

The Clinical Director position is a multi-faceted role requiring excellent leadership, supervision, organization, development and growth of all centers.

The Clinical Director is responsible for the clinical leadership within the organization, including overseeing the management of 45+ individual therapists, reviewing treatment plans and notes, clinician performance and development, crisis management, risk assessment, and supporting all clinical services provided by the therapy.


Responsibilities:


  • Above all else the most important part of this job is to ensure the clinicians are meeting and achieving their productivity and production goals for weekly patient expectations.
  • Develop policy and procedures guidelines for clinical and operational aspects of practice.
  • Assist Executive Clinical Director in providing innovation and implementation of ideas to practice to support enormous growth and expansion of services.
  • Provide leadership weekly reports on therapist productivity and production.
  • Coordinate with intake department regarding intakes and scheduling for the therapy department.
  • Collaborate with the billing department as needed.
  • Coordinate and collaborate on patient care with the psychological testing and psychiatry department.
  • Maintain a caseload of 15 patients and meet minimum weekly billing requirements.
  • Serve as ongoing supervisor for assistant clinical director and clinical supervisors.
  • Role may include providing clinical supervision to associate therapists and interns, signing off on all clinical observations and supervisory notes.
  • Manage Supervisor team by providing group monthly meetings/trainings to promote a consistent and strong supervision program.
  • Assist in developing a robust and comprehensive training program for all new hires. Providing orientation and training on the program for all new hires.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training therapists, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance 30/60/90, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Oversee therapists in the associate therapy program and adherence to their agreed upon job responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the operations team and leadership to develop and implement improvement initiatives and change as needed to enhance the quality of care and services.
  • Facilitate bimonthly department meetings to maintain streamlined operational workflow and integration of new policies, procedures, systems, or changes in program structure.
  • Support therapy providers in facilitating and documenting proper assessments, recommendations, and referrals.
  • Support Quarterly allstaff meetings, Training Meetings and organizing CEU events for clinicians.
  • Consistently adhere to HIPAA and APA guidelines for proper implementation of ethical, legal, and cultural standards of care
  • Have knowledge on HIPAA compliance and have the ability implement tools for annual risk assessments as well as monitor and track compliance as the HIPAA Compliance officer

Experience:


  • Master's Degree or above in areas of Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Hold the following licenses: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD
  • Minimum of five (35) years' experience in psychiatric or mental health field
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in advanced clinical management or leadership of practice setting preferred.
  • Experience working with Mental Health and Psychiatry Team
  • This position reports to Executive Clinical Director

License/Certification:

  • LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD (preferred)
