UCHealth is hiring for (PGY1) Pharmacy Resident for The Inpatient Pharmacy Department at
UCMedical Center Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, and according to standard procedure the Pharmacy Resident (Pharmacy Practice or Specialty) is a pharmacist in training who provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, clinical services and teaching.

Education:
Minimum Required:
PharmD.
Applicants to international programs are graduates or candidates for graduation from a pharmacy degree program that is a minimum of five years in duration.
License and Certification:
Residents must obtain Ohio pharmacist licensure in the first third of the program to ensure two-thirds of the residency is completed as a licensed pharmacist based on ASHP requirements.
If not licensed in Ohio by the residency start date, the candidate must obtain an Ohio Intern License.Work Experience:
No experience is required
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff; handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; set priorities and solve problems; respond quickly to emergency requests; communicate effectively (orally and in writing), and assist in meeting the pharmaceutical care needs of the patient populations served by the organization.
