In addition to responsibilities for a Tech I, Pharmacy Technician II demonstrates a high level of initiative and motivation along with competency in a specialized area(s) of the department.

``` - Education: required High School Diploma or GED - License and Certification: Current pharmacy technician registration and certification that is recognized by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy is required
- Required Skills and Knowledge: Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff; handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; set priorities and solve problems; respond quickly to emergency requests; communicate effectively (orally and in writing), and assist in meeting the pharmaceutical care needs of the patient populations served by the organization.
