    $185,000/annually

    Summary

    Responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's information assets. The position will develop and implement comprehensive strategies, policies, and procedures to identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and respond effectively to security incidents.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Spearhead an ongoing risk analysis methodology to analyze the efficacy of information security protocols in both the software products and operational processes of the company.
    • Identify and prioritize security initiatives, establish security goals, and create a roadmap for their implementation.
    • Constantly assess changing security risks and ensure that proportionate measures are in place to protect critical IT systems and software development operational practices, proactively communicate with internal stakeholders on any recommendations, and execute their successful implementation.
    • Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to information security. Ensure that the organization's security practices and controls are in compliance with applicable requirements.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and stakeholders to address compliance issues and maintain regulatory alignment.
    • Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address and manage security incidents effectively.
    • Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees at all levels of the organization and passionately drive an information security culture running throughout the company.
    • Assess and manage the security risks associated with third-party vendors and suppliers. Establish security requirements and standards for vendor contracts, conduct security assessments of vendors, and monitor ongoing compliance.
    • Develop and implement processes for reporting and communicating security incidents to appropriate stakeholders, including executives, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies.

    • Demonstrated achievement in building consensus and alignment across diverse disciplines.
    • Extensive knowledge of incident response process (preparation, detection & analysis, containment & eradication, lessons learned)
    • Strong ability to translate strategic-level goals into actionable objectives.
    • Familiarity and experience with PCI DSS and NSIT CSF.
    • Able to prepare detailed, neat, and organized work papers. Follow logical structure and collect evidence to support and document findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
    • Passion to remain current on information security industry trends, standards, tools, techniques and procedures and affirmatively implement relevant changes to internal IS protocols.
    Education and/or Experience
    • Minimum 7+ years IT or Information Security progressive leadership experience
    • Hands-on experience with the following security technologies: Proofpoint, Office365, AWS and Azure.
    Communication Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications with a strong track record interfacing with technical and non-technical personnel at a variety of levels.
