    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies and procedures based on industry best practices.
    • Design and execution of security architectures to safeguard sensitive data under senior guidance.
    • Management of security solutions like firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption tools.
    • Involvement in incident response procedures, including investigations and breach resolutions.
    • Execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and prioritization of security vulnerabilities.
    • Utilization of security monitoring tools for detecting and responding to incidents.
    • Monitoring logs and alerts for suspicious activities, escalating where necessary.
    • Providing security training to staff, promoting cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
    • Collaboration with IS and IT teams to integrate security measures into IT processes.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulations, participating in audits, and enhancing security governance frameworks.
    • Staying abreast of cybersecurity industry trends and recommending new tools and technologies.
    • Engagement in special projects and additional duties as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of one year of progressive experience in information security.
    • Familiarity with security functions in regulated environments.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and technologies such as firewalls and vulnerability scanners.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
    • Demonstrated teamwork, self-direction, and customer-focused approach.
