- Manage a team of editors, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure the delivery of exceptional content.
- Collaborate with project managers, writers, and other stakeholders to develop content strategies and execute projects effectively.
- Edit and proofread a variety of materials including detail aids, sell sheets, PowerPoint presentations, websites, banners, and digital copy.
- Ensure all content adheres to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and brand guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, guidelines, and best practices to continuously improve editorial processes and content quality.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on editorial standards, providing guidance and training to team members as needed.
- 5+ years of experience in editorial roles within the medical/pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in AMA style and familiarity with healthcare professional (HCP) communication.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines related to medical/pharmaceutical content.

Our client, a pharmaceutical advertising agency in NY, is seeking an Associate Director of Editorial to join their team. In this role, you will lead a team of editors and collaborate closely with project managers and other writers to produce high-quality content for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal candidate will bring extensive editorial experience, a strong background in the medical/pharma industry, and proficiency in AMA style and healthcare professional (HCP) communication. This position will be hybrid and based out of the New York office.
