- Manage a team of editors, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers and writers to develop and execute editorial plans for various projects, including detail aids, sell sheets, PowerPoint presentations, websites, banners, and digital copies.
- Ensure all materials comply with AMA style and other relevant guidelines, maintaining consistency and accuracy across all communications.
- Utilize your medical/pharma background and expertise to provide insights and guidance on content development, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and best practices.
- Oversee the review process for all materials, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging best practices to continuously improve our editorial processes and standards.
- 5+ years of editorial experience in the medical/pharma industry.
- Strong understanding of AMA style and other relevant editorial guidelines.
- Experience working with Health Care Professional (HCP) communications preferred.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
