Experienced Sales Engineer Position in Portland, Oregon Area

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in the Portland area. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing accounts in the Pulp and Paper industry in the Northwest region. This role involves maintaining current business relationships, driving growth by showcasing our capabilities, and expanding our customer base through effective networking.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary of $90,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Details:

Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain regular communication with assigned customer base
Act as the primary contact for customers, handling all communication effectively
Prepare project estimates and formal quotations
Monitor revenues by account and divisions
Update necessary documentation through the company CRM

Requirements:

Maintain office and shop presence as needed
Deliver clear communication between customers and the company
Create proposals and updates for customers
Handle final invoicing in coordination with accounting
Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Zoho CRM

Education and Experience:

Technical degree in engineering or manufacturing

Minimum of five years in manufacturing and three years in sales
