    Description

    My client is looking to bring in a skilled and experienced super to help them as they pick up projects in Madison.

    For the right candidate they are prepared to offer a competitive base (up to 120k), generous benefits and a substantial growth opportunity.

    They have experience in education, healthcare, senior living, solar, publice works and more. Manage all day-to-day field activities.
    Review blueprints, customer needs and contractor submissions in order to execute appropriate bids.
    Lead the team with appropriate construction project planning and developing site logistics.
    Schedule on-site inspections as needed along with the jobs site.
    Review all bids for work, as well as supervising the inspection of work.
    Ensure all proper signage is posted on the construction job site, and all safety requirements.
    Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
    Keep daily and weekly construction work logs.
    Ensure good time management and to have timely completion of projects.
    Monitor job subcontractors to ensure safety guidelines are met.
    5+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
    ~ Bachelor's degree preferred (preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or one similar.
    ~ Proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
    ~ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other construction softwares
    ~ New construction and ground-up experience.
    ~ 1 year + of experience in lab, k-12, education and scientific work
