We are looking for eager, qualified, experienced individuals to grow with our expanding company. We are looking for an experienced Foreman to work out of our Madison, Wi office.


Job Summary:

The BRC Foreman works under the direct supervision of the General Superintendent.

Responsibilities include delegating work assignments to crews, overseeing job performance of crew members, inspecting worksite conditions, training new employees, working alongside crew members doing tuck-pointing, caulking, bricklaying, as well as provide excellent customer service to the customer(s).


Directly Responsible For:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provides leadership and decision making to on site BRC employees and/or subcontractor crews that directly impacts and influences overall project performance.
  • Enforces all BRC policies and procedures to employees and subcontractors.
  • Enforces safe working conditions with all job assignments and is responsible for instructing staff on proper equipment use and work methods.
  • Supervises special projects and labor crews.
  • Manages all subcontractors on site.
  • Works with General Superintendent and Project Managers to complete change orders and gather signatures from customers when needed.
  • Reports jobsite conditions and all disciplinary problems to the appropriate person; i.e. Safety Director, General Superintendent, HR Director and/or Project Manager assigned to the job as needed.
  • Opens the jobsite each morning and runs operations until the workday has completed.
  • Manages the crew: tracks attendance, submitting hours, and setting an example for professional conduct.
  • Training of the crew leads, tuckpointers, caulkers, brick masons, laborers, and any other field crew workers assigned to jobsites.
  • Implements procedures to ensure the work meets BRC quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Daily and weekly preplanning for jobsite and crew tasks.
  • Responsible for the security of the jobsite and BRC equipment.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

3-5 years of work-related experience as a foreman is preferred.


Must possess a valid driver's license, have a clean driving record, and ability to drive large vehicles along with pulling trailers.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the following:
